Stupid Yahoo. My groups page doesn't want to open so I've got tons of email sent to the wrong place.
Very VERY upset. POA is only opening in SA on the 11th, I'm going god-knows-where on a family vacation on the 12th, only back on the 18th. What are the chances of getting tickets on the 11th? NONE!!!! I shall pine from withdrawal. *sigh*

It's not even winter and already I have the flu. I hate being sick but at least I have an excuse to stay in bed.
Am rapidly discovering my love for russian sites. I can't speak the languages, hell I can't even read it, but everytime I need to download something I seem to find it on a russian site. Found a lovely place for downloading ebooks- lots of well known names in .doc or .txt format if you want that kind of thing.

04:02 pm - I've been having one of those days... all week.
Grr... My ever-so-annoying boyfriend is now on my list of not-favourite people. I can call him that because I'm pretty sure he doesn't know I'm writing this. Will not go into details... involves an item of clothing he didn't like and insulting me in front of friends at a public place.
Also irritating-- seems WB has struck again. One of my favourite authors Jade has pulled her HP site due to an e-mail she received (http://jade1x2.livejournal.com). Corporate vultures. My sympathies to the victims.
My mother has found yet another health... thing, so she's feeding me more pills. But hey, it's mother's day, I'm indulging her. Can't help wondering if maybe oneday she'll slip something poisonous in. Whether this would be a good or a bad thing, I haven't yet decided.

11:14 pm - Parlez vous Français?
Decided that French is one of the weirdest languages around. One of my classmates today announced that she would put on her jacket because it was fruit. She meant cold (froid=cold). Counting is strange too because certain numbers are combined, like 70 is basically 60-10 and 80 is 4-20. Don't know why I'm learning this language. Portuguese is better but my teacher is very weird. He likes telling us about words in other languages that sound like swear words.
Life is sorta boring after school. Can't help but think that my friends are looking down on me 'cos they're all studying and I'm at home all day. My mother is of course nagging at me to reapply. But she nags about a lot of things... driving lessons, getting my cellphone fixed, doing chores... maybe one day I'll listen to her. Maybe.
Still worried what she's going to say about my internet usage. Spent a whole night last Friday in a chat with the HowtobeaHero.com members (I'm a wizard... naturally) and the phone bill is probably sky high.
Am sick to death of politics and Unpronouncable MP's names. Gah.
Still cross because I missed the eclipse of the moon. I was watching the Survivor finalé. Sooo glad Jon didn't win. Rupert actually deserved it but Sandra was my second choice. Can't wait for All Star. Only reality programme worth watching.
Speaking of waiting, thegraybook is taking her time with DV14 part 2. I know, Real Life and all, but still miffed. If I can't have HP6 I want Draco Veritas!
Fic of the moment: Two actually. H/D: Matinee by LadyVader. Her sex dialog is somewhat cheesy but I'm feeling cheese at the moment.
H/S: Quid Pro Quo by Auctra Sinistra. Her Severus is simply gorgeous. Definitely on my top 100 for whatever that's worth.

12:52 am - hello world...
Ok so the world probably isn't even listening. Big surprise. But I'm sick of talking to myself. Maybe someone will read this or maybe no-one will but at least I'll feel better. Me, me, me. Ha.
In case someone does eventually read this, I'll give an introduction. I'm 18 and rapidly discovering I don't like the world. Or most of it anyway. What I like is literature and the English language. Harry Potter and fanfiction thereof. I have a penchant for destruction of just about anything I can get my hands on(myself included). I also have some rather peculiar tastes that I will not share. And I guess that's me...
